What is Eurosport?

Eurosport is a sports channel (to state the obvious) which is home to a wide range of sporting events. It focuses on tennis and cycling, and also hosts motorsport, athletics, snooker, football and more.

Eurosport has two TV channels, Eurosport 1 and 2, which come free with several TV packages. Eurosport used to have a streaming service, Eurosport Player, which has now been incorporated into Discovery Plus's Entertainment & Sports subscription.

How to watch Eurosport in the UK

Fortunately, there are plenty of ways you can watch Eurosport in the UK. Eurosport is available as part of a TV package with BT Sport (now TNT Sport), Sky Sports, Virgin Media Stream and Discovery Plus.

If you are signed up for a package with these broadcasters (see cost section below), then you can find Eurosport on your TV channels or app. BT customers can find the Eurosport channels on 412 and 413, with Eurosport HD channels on 435 and 436.

Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2 can be found on Sky channels 412 and 413, and Virgin Media channels 521 and 522.

If you have a smart TV and Discovery Plus is your chosen way of signing up for Eurosport, you’ll be able to access the Discovery Plus app on there. You can also add Discovery Plus to your Amazon Prime Video account or watch directly through Discovery Plus.

How much does Eurosport cost in the UK?

There are several ways to watch Eurosport. If you want to watch Eurosport via BT, you will need to buy Discovery Plus Premium for broadband customers, which will cost you £10 per month. BT Sport has recently changed its name to TNT Sports.

For Sky customers, you can watch Eurosport on Sky. Eurosport is a non-premium channel on Sky, and it's included in the basic Sky TV subscription.

Eurosport is available at no extra cost to Virgin Media customers.

If you already have an Amazon Prime Video subscription, simply add Eurosport via Discovery Plus as a subscription. The Discovery Plus ‘Entertainment & Sport’ subscription is £3.99 per month for six months, then £6.99 per month afterwards if you sign-up before 11th August.
